Free Speech Exceptions–True Speech Limitations

We do not defend blatantly untrue speech like libel, slander, perjury, food mislabeling. Our issue is free #TrueSpeech. Still we are mostly unconcerned about copyright violation, right to privacy, obscenity, public security, non disclosure agreements, except when  gag orders¹*²*³ to police, teachers, media as mandated by #PresseKodex12.1 pervert democracy by making the “informed voter” believe in an unreal world view of racial, gender, and individual equality. ⁴

Right to be forgotten is more problematic, but not central to our issue of systematic bias by mandatory lies.

Freedom of speech and expression, therefore, may not be recognized as being absolute, and common limitations or boundaries to freedom of speech relate to libel, slander, obscenity, pornography, sedition, incitement, fighting words, classified information, copyright violation, trade secrets, food labeling, non-disclosure agreements, the right to privacy, the right to be forgotten, public security, and perjury. Justifications for such include the harm principle, proposed by John Stuart Mill in On Liberty, which suggests that: “the only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community, against his will, is to prevent harm to others.”^[3]

The idea of the “offense principle” is also used in the justification of speech limitations, describing the restriction on forms of expression deemed offensive to society, considering factors such as extent, duration, motives of the speaker, and ease with which it could be avoided.^[3] With the evolution of the digital age, application of the freedom of speech becomes more controversial as new means of communication and restrictions arise, for example the Golden Shield Project, an initiative by Chinese government’s Ministry of Public Security that filters potentially unfavorable data from foreign countries. Scientific Integrity and the Ethics of ‘Utter Honesty’

Honesty is a core scientific virtue, but what does it require of us?

Should utter honesty, which some think implies completely open communication of scientific results, be upheld in cases, for example, where there is a reasonable fear that significant social harm would result from dangerous scientific knowledge becoming known?

Anti-racist, of course, claim that knowing the truth about race differences is dangerous. So Black crime must be covered up.

 

Many of the Manhattan Project physicists who solved a sweet theoretical and technical problem, including Feynman, regretted their roles in releasing the nuclear genie. Leaving aside the question of whether they should have pursued this research in the first place, surely everyone would agree that honesty does not compel full publication of the details that would allow others to replicate that work.[…]

Biological research may also carry a high risk of potential significant threat, and the U.S. government issued policy guidelines requiring oversight and limits on what is termed Dual Use Research of Concern (DURC). It has at times even restricted funding of certain types of scientific investigations, such as so-called gain-of-function research in virology that investigated ways to increase the pathogenicity and/or transmissibility of viruses like influenza and SARS. A critic might point to such examples where science must be kept secret as a way of questioning whether honesty is always the best policy for scientists.

These gag orders are a mandates for wholesale deception⁵, for decades of lies, to perpetually cover up every single instance of “minority” crime. Ensuing multi-level coverup further compounds repression of factually true #HateFacts. Even taboo-breakers who expose high black criminality rarely mention that the Black crime is much worse than statistics indicate.

Even far right US president Richard M Nixon was adamant that the public must not know about black IQ.
